Guilherme Parente was a Portuguese artist who studied at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes in the 1960s and later received a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation to study at the Slade School of Arts in London. He was awarded the Malhoa Prize and the Painting Prize of the National Society of Fine Arts and had several individual and collective exhibitions. His works can be found in various collections including the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the City Museum (Lisbon), and the Chiado Museum.
